We help first-time, at risk and nonviolent young adult offenders to achieve a new and fresh start in life in the Tidewater Virginia area so they can become productive citizens; a transformational change that will alleviate recidivism
A FRESH START FREEDOM INITIATIVE (AFSFI) is meeting a longstanding need to reduce recidivism by providing first time, at risk and nonviolent young adult offenders opportunities to a quality and transformational life through educational programs including job training, employment, literacy, and much more. We are filling a significant gap by building stronger relationships among families and law enforcement in communities, reducing incarcerations and criminal behaviors in communities.
